Dear Parents, Welcome to a new school year. I am happy to be part of the faculty at Nevils Elementary School. My name is Felice Riggs, and I live in Statesboro. I am married to Phillip Riggs and we have 4 children. We have twins that will be attending Nevils Elementary. They will be in second grade. My older daughter is in the 8th grade, and my older son is 18 years old. We have 3 pets: one cat and 2 fish. This is my 21st year of teaching. I previously taught fifth grade at Langston Chapel Elementary. I love to teach all subjects, but Language Arts is my favorite. I love to read! I also love computers. I will be completing my Master's Degree in May from Georgia Southern in Instructional Technology. I am a demonstration teacher with Georgia Southern, and I am a Teacher Support Specialist. I am very excited to be teaching your child. We will learn and experience new things. I am team teaching with Mrs. Hook. Please feel free to email or call me if you have any questions or concerns. I want to invite you to visit and volunteer in our class. I believe that it takes parents, teachers, and students to work together for a successful learning experience.
